October is the opening month of a chain of exciting festive events that will last until the end of the year and Rex Hotel Saigon is offering various food promotions and special events in celebration.

There are two prominent events taking place in October: celebrations for Vietnamese Women’s Day on October 20 and a Halloween Party on October 26.

In a special event honoring Vietnamese women, the hotel will bring diners a new set menu with attractive dishes that have a culinary blend of many different regions with eye-catching decoration in bright, tender and sweet colors, and, of course, are full of nutrition.

The special set menu features Chicken soup with herbs; Grilled shrimp paste and Rice vermicelli sheets; Sautéed sturgeon with green tea sauce served with steamed dumplings; Stir-fried crab vermicelli with vegetables; and Lotus seed and red bean cake for dessert. The price for the set is just VND800,000 ($34.5) (excluding taxes and fees).

Women who book the set menu to celebrate their day at the Rooftop Garden Bar from 7pm to 10pm on October 20 will receive a free glass of Roku Happy Cocktail. Female diners will also be offered a free glass of Black bean drink when dining at hotel’s other eateries like Cung Dinh Restaurant, Paradise Coffee Lounge, or Vertical Garden, which are all located on the ground floor. The promotion is available from 6am to 1pm on the day.

The Halloween Party on October 26 promises to be an attractive event with magical and scary scenes to entertain diners and visitors. The Rooftop Garden Bar will be transformed into a mysterious garden with smiling pumpkins, black bats and spider webs, dry branches, and hidden ghosts.

No matter how old guests are or how many times they’ve been around the block, Halloween simply never gets old. The littlest ones will have the chance to dress up and go trick-or-treating while their parents have an excuse to sip on boo-zy Halloween cocktails. All will have the chance to experience an exciting night of the year when the barrier between the living and the dead is broken down.

A perfect festival night can’t lack delicious food, and on this special occasion the Rex Hotel Saigon offers a scrumptious buffet decorated in an impressive Halloween style. Live music and mini games with prizes make the event much more interesting. It starts at 6.30pm and lasts until late at night. Prices start from VND1.154 million ($50) per person.
